Beef and vegetable korma

Beef and vegetable korma

Ingredients

0.5kg (1 pound) beef, cubed

1 cup garden peas, blanched

1 cup cubes carrots

2 tbsp curry powder

1 tsp chilli powder

1 medium red onion, diced

6 cloves of garlic, crushed

3 large tomatoes, diced

1 cup of water or beef / bone broth


Method

Steam beef cubes with 1tbsp of oil until they begin to sizzle

Add the onion and garlic and let fry until golden

Add curry powder and chilli powder and stir for 1 minute (let the spice cook but not blacken)

Add tomatoes and stir until they are fully crushed

Add peas and carrots and 1 cup of water or beef or bone broth


How to serve

Serve on steamed, turmeric, or brown rice
